Gildeko takes on a limited number of mandates at any time, which means every client receives the full attention of a senior operator with an intimate understanding of the market. Listings are curated and presented selectively. A number of properties are handled exclusively off-market and are made available only to clients within the Gildeko network.
Gildeko is formally incorporated in Spain as a Sociedad Limitada and operates in full compliance with Spanish real estate regulations. The client base is international, spanning Belgian, Dutch, British, Scandinavian, Middle Eastern, and American buyers, investors, and developers.

Gilles Dekoninck is Belgian by origin and Marbella by choice. He relocated to the Costa del Sol in 2023 after more than a decade of visiting the area, first as a recurring guest and eventually as someone who understood its property market well enough to build a practice around it.
His background is in business and client relationships rather than traditional estate agency, which shapes the way Gildeko operates. The focus is on long-term value, transparency, and the kind of frank advice that a trusted advisor gives rather than a salesperson. Most of his clients become repeat clients and, in many cases, friends. Gilles co-brokers with a network of trusted agents across Europe and beyond, which means Gildeko clients have access to opportunities well beyond what a single agency would typically hold. He conducts all client relationships personally and does not delegate introductions or negotiations.
